Position Overview

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO)—preferably a physician leader—to drive the next phase of growth for a Healthcare IT company specializing in data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML).

The CEO will combine clinical insight with deep technology and operational expertise to lead the development and scaling of innovative, data-driven solutions that improve patient outcomes,enable risk-based decision-making, and enhance healthcare delivery across systems.

This role demands a leader who can bridge clinical practice, enterprise technology, and business strategy to deliver measurable impact at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Vision & Growth

  • Define and execute a bold vision for AI-driven healthcare transformation, leveraging analytics for clinical, operational, and financial optimization.
  • Identify emerging opportunities in predictive analytics, population health, risk modeling, digital underwriting, and intelligent automation.
  • Drive market expansion through strategic partnerships with healthcare systems, payers, and life sciences organizations.

Clinical & Technology Leadership

  • Ensure all solutions are aligned with clinical realities, patient safety, and evidence-based care models.
  • Lead the development of advanced AI/ML models for clinical decision support, risk stratification, and outcomes prediction.
  • Champion interoperability, data governance, and secure data exchange across healthcare ecosystems.
  • Oversee enterprise platforms including data lakes, cloud environments, identity systems (SSO), and learning ecosystems (LMS).


Operational Excellence

  • Scale organizational operations to support rapid growth while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and performance.
  • Establish metrics-driven governance to track product performance, client outcomes, and operational efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation, workflow optimization, and digital innovation.


Financial Stewardship

  • Own P&L responsibility, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and profitability.
  • Develop and execute funding, investment, and partnership strategies.
  • Expand revenue streams through AI-powered services, analytics platforms, and SaaS offerings.


Stakeholder Engagement & Influence

  • Serve as the organization’s primary thought leader and industry voice, particularly in forums involving digital health and AI innovation.
  • Build strong relationships with: academic medical centers, healthcare executives and physician leaders, regulatory and compliance bodies, and strategic technology partners
  • Translate complex technical capabilities into business and clinical value propositions.


Talent & Culture

  • Build and mentor a high-performing, interdisciplinary leadership team (clinical, data science, engineering, and operations).
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and mission-driven impact.
  • Promote collaboration between clinical and technical teams to accelerate product development and adoption.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • MD (or equivalent physician qualification) strongly preferred
  • 15+ years of leadership experience across healthcare, health IT, or digital health ecosystems
  • Proven track record leading enterprise-scale technology transformations

Deep expertise in:

  • Healthcare data analytics and reporting
  • AI/ML applications in clinical and operational contexts
  • Digital transformation and enterprise IT systems

Strong understanding of:

  • Healthcare regulations (HIPAA, data privacy, security frameworks)
  • Clinical workflows and care delivery models

Preferred

  • Executive leadership (CIO, CTO, CMIO, or similar) in large healthcare systems or academic institutions
  • Experience in risk modeling, underwriting, or population health analytics
  • Demonstrated success scaling AI-driven or data-centric businesses
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams managing SSO, LMS, and enterprise identity/data ecosystems
