Cleaning Services Manager

📋 Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Cleaning Operations Supervisor to oversee and manage daily cleaning operations across multiple assigned commercial and public client sites. The successful candidate will lead a team of cleaning technicians, ensuring service delivery aligns strictly with the company's established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership & Scheduling: Plan daily deployment schedules, allocate tasks, and manage shift duties for cleaning crews across various project locations.

• Quality & Site Inspections: Conduct routine site walkthroughs to audit cleanliness, ensuring high service quality standards and compliance with contract specifications.

• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing feedback, resolving operational issues, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

• Training & Mentorship: Conduct structured training sessions for new hires and team leaders on specialized cleaning equipment, chemical handling, and safety measures.

• Inventory Control: Monitor and manage cleaning chemical consumables and machinery stock levels, initiating re-ordering processes to minimize wastage.

• Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and standard safety practices across all teams.

• Reporting: Compile and submit daily operational and cleanliness health reports to the Operations Manager.

🛠️ Job Requirements

• Education: Minimum of a Diploma or specialized technical certification in Facilities Management, Environment Services, or a related discipline.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience specifically within the commercial cleaning, environmental services, or facilities management sector.

• Technical Skills: Proficient in operating advanced industrial cleaning machinery (e.g., ride-on scrubbers, carpet extractors) and knowledgeable in chemical dilution ratios.

• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both corporate stakeholders and ground staff.

• Work Conditions: Highly mobile role requiring standard travel between multiple project sites.
