Clinic Assistant

Patient Care & Front Desk

• Front Desk registration, payment and manage patient appointments.
• Verify patient particulars, insurance, and relevant healthcare schemes.
• Handle patient enquiries professionally, in person, over the phone and messages.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records while ensuring patient confidentiality.

Clinical Assistance

• Assist doctors as chaperones during consultations.
• Measure and record patients' vital signs (e.g. blood pressure, temperature, vision test, height and weight).
• Electronic submission of health results.
• General housekeeping of clinic area (Front counter, consultation, pharmacy and treatment rooms.
• Assist in specimen collection and simple diagnostic procedures where required.

Medication & Inventory

• Dispense medications accurately according to doctors' prescriptions.
• Explain basic medication instructions to patients.
• Monitor medication stock levels and clinic inventory.
• Assist in ordering and receiving medical supplies.

Clinic Operations

• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards within the clinic.
• Ensure smooth daily clinic operations.
• Perform cashiering duties and daily closing procedures.
• Undertake administrative tasks and other duties assigned by the Clinic Manager or Doctor.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE N/O Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a GP clinic, polyclinic or healthcare setting is an advantage.
• Candidates without experience are welcome to apply as training will be provided.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer service-oriented with a caring and positive attitude.
• Able to work well in a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer literacy required.
• Willing to work Weekdays and Saturday/AM, excluding Sunday & Public Holidays.
