Clinic Nurse- Gastroenterology clinic

Key Responsibilities

* Provide nursing care and support to patients attending the clinic.

* Assist doctors during consultations, and examinations.

* Perform clinical duties such as vital signs monitoring, and specimen collection.

* Educate patients on medications, investigations, procedures, and follow-up care.

* Coordinate appointments, investigations, referrals, and hospital admissions where required.

* Assist with endoscopy scheduling, pre-procedure counselling, intra- procedure and post-procedure coordination

* Handle patient enquiries and provide appropriate assistance.

* Maintain accurate documentation and update electronic medical records.

* Ensure proper stock and medication inventory.

* Adhere to infection control, workplace safety, and clinic protocols.

* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and administrative duties as assigned by medical director/ clinic manager.

Requirements

* Registered Nurse with valid SNB registration.

* Good communication and interpersonal skills.

* Able to work independently and as part of a team.

* Proficient in basic computer skills and electronic medical records systems.

* Endoscopy experience will be an advantage.

* Relevant private specialist clinic experience (Gastro/GS) will be an advantage.

* Fresh graduates are welcome (training will be provided).
