Clinic Nurse / Surgical Assistant

This is primarily a clinic-based role supporting outpatient consultations, surgical coordination,patient care, and clinical administration. Opportunities for operating theatre exposure and surgical assistance may be available to suitable candidates who meet hospital credentialing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the doctor during consultations, procedures, and treatments.
• Coordinate surgeries, hospital admissions, investigations, and follow-upcare.
• Provide patient education and post-treatment advice.
• Manage appointments, patient records, and insurance documentation.
• Support ward rounds and inpatient coordination when required.
• Monitor inventory, medications, and clinical supplies.
• Participate in clinic quality improvement and SOP development.
• Assist with operating theatre activities where credentialed and trained.

Requirements

• Valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) Practising Certificate.
• Valid BCLS certification.
• Experience in specialist clinics, wards, surgery, or operating theatres is advantageous.
• Strong communication, organisational, and documentation skills.
• Comfortable with both clinical and administrative responsibilities.
• Interest in orthopaedics, surgery, and perioperative care.
