Doctor (Physician/ Consultant)

Responsible in delivering the best, up-to-date medical care to all patients of ULTIMED HEALTHCARE CLINICS – via all service modalities provided by the company, such as (not limited to) face-to-face consult, telemedicine, house-calls, medical repatriation, corporate on-site projects, event coverage etc. Serve as the defacto Principal Officer of the clinic he / she practises in.

A. SCOPE of PRIMARY CARE PRACTISE

• Be able to attend to manage (See, Diagnose & Treat) cases in the General Practise space, looking after the patients from “cradle to grave”.
• Confident and capable of handling paediatric patients to institute developmental assessment, basic paediatric physical examination and generating relevant prescription and referrals to SECONDARY CARE wherever required
• Up-to-date in chronic disease management, capable of conjuring care-plans for patients with chronic diseases together with an achievable outcome measure, aligned with requirements of Healthier SG
• Able to provide acute and / or emergency care for patients in the clinic, initiate and organise the necessary referrals to a step-up care facility, in the event of an emergency, Code Blue,
• Able to recommend and conduct holistic Health Screening based on patient’s clinical health requirements and risks.
• Able to perform bed-side procedures, such as (not limited to):

1. Ear-syringing
2. Nail avulsion / Wedge resection
3. Incision & Drainage / Chalazion removal
4. Toilet & Suture
5. Wound Debridement
6. Phlebotomy
7. Vaccination / IM medication delivery
8. IV cannulisation

• Able to provide safe and accurate Telemedicine Consultation within the Company’s Telehealth guidelines, based on MOH regulations
• Ensure all Medical Certificate issued are justified tagged to diagnoses – with relevant referrals initiated for any ailments requiring prolonged or highly recurrent review
• Work with allied health service to ensure a holistic management of patient’s health & well-being – such as (not limited to) Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Dentistry, TCM etc.

B. ROLE of PRINCIPAL OFFICER

• Work with Clinic Ops / Area Manager (COAM) and also Clinic Supervisor to ensure clinic operations commence and ends daily punctually
• Work with CMO to plan and maintain clinic-level services, dispensary type of medication specific to clinic of practice, based on locale, client requirements
• Receive from CMO the relevant MOH directives, instructions and updates – and to ensure the compliance and execution of said directives wherever applicable and instructed by CMO.
• Provides advise to COAM, on incident management / feedback received in clinics – as per the Company’s Incident Reporting Framework.
• Manage the handling of Locum-hire Doctors practicing in the same clinic – punctuality, standards, discipline, vetting of claims and referrals.

Provide regular updates to CMO with regards to clinic happenings, issues requiring attention and rectification – for the clinic improvement.
