EHS Specialist (Pharma 1yr contract $6K) #HJO

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) management system.
• Ensure compliance with company EHS standards and Singapore regulatory requirements.
• Conduct workplace safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Organise and facilitate EHS training programmes to promote a strong safety culture across the site.
• Coordinate monthly workplace safety, health, environmental, and fire safety meetings.
• Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain EHS documentation, procedures, legal registers, and compliance records.
• Monitor changes in EHS legislation and industry best practices, ensuring ongoing compliance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support EHS initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
• Perform other EHS-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
• Valid Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) Level C certification recognised by MOM is required.
• Knowledge of Singapore Workplace Safety & Health regulations and EHS compliance requirements.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities with sound decision-making skills.
• Proactive team player with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
