Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

🚐 Join Our Team as Emergency Medical Technician (Island wide Locations). This is a full-time position with potentially rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.

As a medic at Lentor Ambulance, you will be the primary provider of medical care to patients during transport. Your clinical skills, critical thinking, and compassionate approach will be essential in ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

💼 Job Responsibilities

·     Assess patient's medical conditions upon arrival, gathering information and vital signs.

·     Administer basic life support (BLS) care, including CPR, oxygen therapy, and bleeding control.

·     Perform non-invasive procedures as directed by protocols.

·     Monitor and document patient condition through out transport.

·     Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.

·     Ensure the ambulance is properly stocked and equipped with all necessary medical supplies and medications.

·     Maintain a clean and sanitized ambulance environment.

·     Communicate effectively with patients, families, dispatches, and hospital staff regarding patient condition and transport details.

·     Accurately document all patient care provided, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

·     Work effectively alongside ambulance drivers and other healthcare professionals.

·     Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritize patient needs.

·     Calm and composed demeanor under pressure, with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

·     Any adhoc duties assigned to your supervisor.

·     Requirements

·     1 GCE ‘N’ Level Pass or Workplace Literacy and Numeracy Level 4

·     Min 1 year working experience in healthcare.

·     Good verbal skills to comfort the patients and relay in formation

·     Able to speak & write in English

·     Work shifts include Day, Night, weekends & Public Holidays.
