Responsibilities:
Energy Management
Act as the appointed Energy Manager in accordance with Singapore’s Energy Conservation Act (ECA)
Develop, implement and maintain site energy management programs.
Monitor and analyse energy consumption for manufacturing processes, utilities and buildings, providing actionable insights and recommendations to management to tap on energy-saving opportunities.
Identify, evaluate and implement energy efficiency improvement projects
Establish energy KPIs, targets and performance tracking.
Prepare and submit required regulatory reports to NEA.
Coordinate and follow up on energy audits and improvement action plans.
Water Management
Monitor site water consumption and identify efficiency improvement opportunities.
Implement water reduction, reuse and conservation initiatives.
Support compliance with PUB and relevant environmental requirements.
Investigate abnormal water usage and coordinate corrective actions.
Work closely with Facilities & Maintenance teams to promote and implement water-saving technologies and solutions.
Sustainability & Continuous Improvement
Support the implementation of global sustainability and ESG initiatives at site level.
Drive initiatives related to carbon footprint reduction (Scope 1 and Scope 2).
Support waste reduction and resource efficiency programs.
Collect and analyse sustainability data for internal and external reporting and initiate improvement works.
Work closely with EHS team to ensure alignment with ISO 14001 and internal EHS standards
Support documentation, procedures and records related to energy and sustainability.
Act as the key liaison on energy and sustainability matters and liaise with external consultants, service providers and regulatory authorities.
Support change management for projects impacting environmental performance.
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of energy-related and relevant experience
Minimum Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemical, Environment Science, or related field
Registered Energy Manager (Singapore NEA-recognised qualification)
Strong knowledge of Singapore Energy Conservation Act (ECA) requirements and PUB water efficiency regulations and reporting frameworks
Experience in energy and water audits, data analysis and performance optimisation and utilities systems
Proficiency in data analytics tools and reporting systems
Proven experience in energy management or related field.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail
Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
Certified Water Efficiency Manager (PUB-recognised) and familiarity with ISO 50001 (Energy Management System) are advantageous
