Enrolled Nurse

Job Responsibilities

• Guides and mentors new Assistant Nurses in their duties.
• Performs nursing procedures eg. Surgical dressing, feeding and bathing of residents
• Check residents daily in the morning and treats the residents for sores, ring worms and scabies, and refers sick residents to the Medical Room
• Assist staff nurse to observe residents with minor ailments eg diarrhea, headache and report to Senior Staff Nurse / Staff Nurse for referral to consult Doctor.
• Observes/cares for sick residents in the sick bay
• Clean and disinfect all instruments used during dressing
• Clean and disinfect skin treatment room daily.
• Packing of medicine for residents to be done a day in advance
• Serves milk (ENSURE) drinks to weak and under-weight residents
• Assists in physiotherapy exercises (if needed)
• Ensure that the nurse station, medical treatment room, and medical consultation room are clean and neat at all times
• To assist in Doctor’s rounds
• To inform SSN/SN if any medical equipment is damage or faulty
• Participates in In-service and other educational programme
• Assist to do changes after TCU.
• Top up charts every Sundays, or as and when needed.
• Any other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• ITE in Nursing
• Diploma / Degree if foreigneer
• Able to work 12 hours rotating shift
