HSE coordinator

Job Description:

• Ensure safety of ships and its environment before work activities and hotwork can be carried out
• Fire prevention, fire fighting operation and pollution control work & drills
• Monitor of safety practices onboard vessels/ships
• Safety enforcement and be part of CERT team
• Confine space gas checks
• Participate in daily VSCC meetings and all ISO HSE requirement
• Any Ad-hoc task assigned by General Manager (Yard Operations) &/or Management

Job Requirement:

• Possess minimum GCE "N" level or equivalent
• Possess relevant safety & health certificates including Shipyard Supervisor
• Possess Safety certificate and diploma certificate in Workplace Safety & health (WSH) & Fire fighting certificate
• Meticulous and proactive
• Assist HSE assessor / chemist
• Able to perform shift &/or OT duties where required.
