IT Manager

The IT Manager is responsible for leading and managing the IT function, ensuring that team performance aligns with the organization’s technology roadmap. This role involves overseeing project delivery, driving applications and automation initiatives, and fostering a high-performing IT team.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the IT function, with oversight of team performance, priorities, and delivery outcomes

• Drive the organisation’s technology roadmap, with a focus on applications, automation, and AI initiatives

• Own end-to-end delivery of IT and digital projects, from scoping and prioritisation to execution and rollout

• Oversee the strategy and performance of business applications, ensuring alignment with operational and commercial needs

• Identify and implement opportunities for automation and AI, improving productivity, decision-making, and service delivery

• Work closely with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions

• Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes, and user experience

• Establish governance, standards, and best practices for application management and project delivery

• Monitor performance, risks, and outcomes across IT initiatives, providing clear visibility to management

• Build and develop a high-performing IT team, fostering ownership, capability, and execution discipline 

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in IT, digital, or technology-related roles

• Proven experience in driving IT or digital initiatives end-to-end

• Strong ability to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions

• Credible stakeholder manager with sound commercial judgement

• Exposure to or interest in AI, automation, or data-driven initiatives
