Junior Research Assistant (Hospital) #HZO

Location: Queenstown

Job Scope:

• Project coordination and management, including ethics submissions and follow‑up.
• Contribute to research protocol development and study documentation.
• Primary data collection (e.g., surveys, interviews, chart reviews) and data entry, basic data cleaning, and preliminary analyses.
• Conduct quantitative and/or qualitative analysis under supervision.
• Undertake literature reviews, including systematic reviews.
• Contribute to scientific manuscripts, reports, and support dissemination of findings (seminars, presentations).
• Specialised skills in health economics evaluation/ implementation research/AI in health/ health services outcomes research will be an advantage.
• Conduct independent systematic reviews and meta‑analyses.
• Perform advanced statistical analyses and data interpretation.
• Support grant applications (concept notes, methods, budgets).

Job Requirements:

• Min. Degree in health science/ public health/ life sciences, psychology, social sciences
• Min. 1-2 years relevant working experience
• Experience in Stata, SPSS, NVivo
