Laboratory Assistant Clinical Support Specialist #HDC

Key Responsibilities:

• Support laboratory technical staff and leadership with daily laboratory activities under general supervision.
• Perform various laboratory support functions including specimen processing, clerical duties, laboratory testing, and phlebotomy-related tasks where required.
• Welcome and assist patients professionally during sample collection activities.
• Verify and process laboratory orders accurately, seeking clarification from relevant clinical teams when needed.
• Ensure proper patient identification procedures and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
• Communicate laboratory test result information accurately to authorised clinical personnel while following established verification procedures.
• Maintain accuracy, attention to detail, and compliance with laboratory protocols.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Clinical Practice Technology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, or related disciplines.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders.
• Meticulous with good numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willing to work in the Central area.
