Newborn Hearing Screener (Contract, Dept of Neonatology)

We are seeking a responsible and committed individual to join our team which provide an essential health screening service for newborns in KK Women's and Children's Hospital.

Job Description:

• Conducts hearing screening on all suitable newborns in the post natal ward nurseries, special care nursery and other area as required. 
• Enters data accurately in the screening equipment. 
• Enters screening results accurately in the patient health booklet.  Informs parent(s) about newborn hearing screening. 
• Assists in outpatient re-screening.
• Communicate with newborns' parents/caregivers.
• Performs daily check on equipment consumables. 
• Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• GCE N / O / NITEC / Higher NITEC
• At least 1-2 years’ experience
• Able to work on weekends and Public Holidays
• Good team player and able to work independently
• Able to stand long hours
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Meticulous with strong organization and coordination skill
