Job Description:
The job holder is responsible for developing and maintaining an effective, system-wide infection control program in the Polyclinics and dental clinics. He/she provides education to healthcare staff on infection control protocols and policies and develops strategies for patient education on prevailing infectious disease issues. He/she serves as a resource person and provides advice on infection control practices. He/she monitors patterns, prevalence and trends, conducts surveillance and evaluates data in infection control practices to initiate appropriate control measures. He/she supports teamwork essential for compliance with accrediting and regulatory standards through surveillance, effective prevention and control activities specific to primary care setting.

Job Requirements: Min Degree in Nursing w min 3 yrs of relevant perm experience as NC, preferably in infection control specialty
