Nurse Educator - Hospital [SL]

• Assist the Assistant Director, Nursing Education & Training in planning, coordinating, and implementing nursing education, training, and professional development programmes.
• Assist in developing and reviewing training curricula based on clinical practice and training needs.
• Assess nurses' competencies regularly to ensure they meet professional and quality nursing standards.
• Identify training needs and support the delivery of education and competency development programmes.
• Monitor the effectiveness of training programmes and recommend improvements where necessary.
• Provide guidance and support to nurses in their professional development.
• Conduct performance appraisals for junior staff within the department.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in nursing or equivalent.
• Post-basic Specialty Certificate in Nursing Education or Masters in Nursing Education is an added advantage.
• Possess valid Singapore Nursing Board practising certificate for Registered Nurse.
• Possess valid BCLS and AED certification or BCLS and AED instructor certification.
• At least 5 years clinical experience as a Senior Staff Nurse or Clinician.
