Patient Care Assistant (Daycare)

• Basic salary up to $3100 + AWS + VB 
• Working hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm (Mon-Fri)
• Easily accessible from Bishan MRT station

A leading provider of palliative care is currently seeking an experienced candidate to join their team as a Patient Care Assistant. Reporting to the Senior Nurse Clinician and Daycare Manager, the Patient Care Assistant supports the nursing team in providing safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to patients in a hospice daycare setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care, hygiene, toileting, mobility, and transfers.
• Monitor and record basic vital signs such as weight, temperature, and blood pressure.
• Support patients' dietary and feeding needs.
• Escort patients during transportation to and from the hospice.
• Maintain food pantry supplies and ensure food safety standards.
• Observe and report patient conditions or concerns to nurses promptly.
• Uphold infection control, housekeeping, and workplace safety standards.
• Perform administrative tasks such as data entry and document filing.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and a safe, comfortable care environment.
• Participate in ongoing learning and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• GCE N-Level, Certificate in Healthcare Assistance, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum2 years of experience as a Patient Care Assistant.
• Passion for serving and caring for patients.
• Strong sense of responsibility, safety awareness, and compassion.
