We are actively hiring for a client in a Adult Disability Home setting in Singapore and we wish to invite interested therapist to apply the role.

Permanent / Senior Physiotherapist
Job Purpose

We are looking for a dedicated Physiotherapist or Senior Physiotherapist to deliver high-quality, person-centered care to adult residents with disabilities within a residential home. The goal of this role is to enhance mobility, functional independence, and overall quality of life.

Reporting to the Head of Home, you will assess, plan, and execute customized treatment plans. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, lead staff training, and drive continuous improvement in care standards. For the Senior role, you will also provide clinical leadership and mentorship to junior therapy staff.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Excellence

  • Evaluate residents with disabilities comprehensively to identify therapy needs and functional objectives.
  • Design, execute, and regularly update individual treatment programs to boost physical function and mobility.
  • Deliver targeted therapeutic interventions, including tailored exercises, mobility training, and pain management.
  • Track resident progress and modify treatment plans according to clinical outcomes.

Multidisciplinary Teamwork

  • Partner with nursing, occupational therapy, medical, and care teams to ensure comprehensive, integrated care.
  • Offer professional insights on physical rehabilitation during care reviews, case discussions, and family conferences.
  • Train care staff on safe handling methods and help integrate therapy routines into daily care.

Resident Engagement & Advocacy

  • Motivate residents to actively participate in therapy and build independent daily living skills.
  • Guide and educate residents and their families on physical health, wellness, and the proper use of assistive devices.

Leadership & Mentorship (Senior Level)

  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to junior physiotherapists and therapy assistants.
  • Anchor clinical audits, lead case reviews, and promote best practices across the therapy team.
  • Supervise and evaluate physiotherapy students on clinical attachments.

Allied Health Coordination

  • Manage and coordinate the schedules and duties of locum physiotherapists and external allied health vendors (e.g., speech or occupational therapists).
  • Partner with outsourced service providers to maintain consistent care standards and treatment continuity.
  • Track the performance of external vendors and report quality insights to the Head of Home.

Reporting & Administration

  • Keep comprehensive, timely, and precise clinical documentation, treatment notes, and progress reports.
  • Compile necessary data and reports for internal audits, management reviews, and care meetings.
  • Comply with all regulatory codes, professional standards, infection control, and safety protocols.
  • Manage therapy equipment and ensure the maintenance of safe therapy spaces.
  • Commit to continuous professional education to maintain valid licensing and evidence-based clinical practices.

Additional Duties

  • Orientate and onboard new team members regarding home protocols and safety measures.
  • Execute first aid during emergencies in line with the home's response guidelines.
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Head of Home to support resident welfare and operational goals.

Project Schedule

  • Work Schedule: 5 days per week, 8 hours per visit
  • Commencement period: FY 2026
  • For candidates applying for the Senior Physiotherapist, must possess at least 5 years of relevant working experience and experience in team management and multi-agency collaboration is a strong advantage
  • Bachelor or Masters in Physiotherapy
  • Must be a Fully Registered AHPC ( Singapore )
