Preschool Cleaner

Cleaning and Sanitisation:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting all classrooms, play areas, and common spaces including windows and mirrors.

• Disinfect high-touch surfaces, toys, learning materials, and play equipment to maintain hygiene standards.

• Ensure the cleanliness of restrooms, dining areas, and kitchen facilities.

Waste Management: Properly dispose of waste and maintain garbage bins in accordance with hygiene protocols.

Stocking Supplies: Ensuring cleaning supplies and consumables like tissues, soap, and sanitizers are replenished.

Maintenance Support: Reporting any maintenance issues or repairs needed to supervisors.

Event Preparation: Assisting in setting up or cleaning after school events or activities.

Laundry Duties: Handle laundry tasks, including washing and folding of linens, nap sheets, and cleaning cloths.

Cooking Assistance: Assume the duties of the cook during their absence, including food preparation, kitchen sanitation, and compliance with food safety standards.

Adherence to Environmental Standards:

• Familiarity with the Environmental Sanitation Programme (ESP) by the National Environment Agency (NEA) and strict compliance with its guidelines.

• Maintain records as required under the ESP framework.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• At least 1 year of relevant working experience preferred.

• Self-motivated and service-oriented.

• Able to handle ad-hoc cooking duties, following the school’s menu.

• Collaborate, respect and maintain positive relationship with all staff and the management team to provide a healthy working environment.

• Physical requirements: Sitting, standing, walking, climbing/ladders, squatting, bending, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling, lifting
