Job Description - Programme & Case Management Executive (Young Adult Cancer Support)

Strong Olive is a growing community initiative dedicated to supporting young adults (18–45) living with cancer. We design safe spaces, empower lived experiences, and create meaningful programmes that address the psychosocial, emotional, and practical needs of young adults across their cancer journey. Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Programme & Case Management Executive who will support young adults with cancer through case management, programme development, and community engagement.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys people-facing work, is able to multi-task, and thrives in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Case Management & Client Support
Provide direct psychosocial support to young adults with cancer.
Conduct needs assessments and ongoing follow-ups.
Develop personalised case management plans and track progress.
Coordinate referrals to the community or healthcare services as needed.
Maintain proper documentation, case notes, and confidentiality in line with organisational and sector standards.
2. Programme Development & Facilitation
Co-develop and run community programmes and events for different segments of our client group
Build youth-friendly, engaging, and evidence-informed programme content.
Support programme evaluation, data collection, and reporting.
Assist in volunteer coordination during programmes.
3. Community Engagement & Stakeholder Relations
Represent the organisation at outreach events, hospital fairs, and community
sessions.
Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, social workers, counsellors, and programme partners.
Support communications (e.g., WhatsApp Groups, IG/TikTok content input, outreach materials) where needed.
4. Internal Operations & Start-Up Support
Support organisational logistics, administration, and ad-hoc tasks within a small founding team.
Contribute ideas to improve systems, workflow, and programme quality.
Requirements
Education & Experience
Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Community Development, Youth Work, Public Health, or related fields.
Prior experience with youth work, health-related support, oncology, or community social services is advantageous.
Fresh graduates with strong passion and relevant internships will be considered.
Mid-career professionals with relevant and related certifications in social service will be considered.
Skills & Attributes
Strong ability to connect with young adults, especially those navigating major life changes.
Comfortable handling casework, crisis support, and multi-stakeholder communication.
Good presentation and facilitation skills.
Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities; able to work with some ambiguity.
Empathetic, non-judgmental, and culturally sensitive.
Good writing and documentation skills.
Comfortable with both independent work and teamwork in a small, mission-driven start-up environment.
