QHSE Executive (Marine)

POSITION:               QHSE EXECUTIVE (MARINE)

Job Summary

Lead and manage the company’s Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Management System (QHSEMS) to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence in marine operations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading, facilitating and operationalizing the company's Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Management System (QHSEMS)

• Reporting and technical advisor to the company's senior management for relevant QHSE regulatory compliance (ISO, ISM, ISPS, etc)

• Tasked to be the Management Representative for organization's QHSE certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHAS 45001, BizSAFE, ISM, ISPS, etc.)

• Appointed as Designated Person Ashore (DPA)

• Appointed as Company Safety Officer (CSO)

• Member of Emergency Response Team

• Oversee, coordinate, and conduct internal and external QHSE audits, including ISM and ISPS inspections, as well as emergency drills during operations or while the vessel is at anchorage.

• In charge of QHSE incident data analytics, gaps identification and closure

• Liaise with the vessels in QHSE matters

• Liaising with Technical and Operations to co-ordinate training requirements according to STCW, SOLAS, IMO and Flag Administration requirement, organize and execute training where necessary

• Formulate policies, procedures and revisions within the framework of the objectives and policies

• Any other relevant duties as delegated by your superiors.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Degree Holder such as Nautical Studies, Maritime Operations, Marine Engineering etc.

• Internal Auditor Certification is an added advantage

• Knowledge in ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards is highly preferred.

• Proficient in MS Office including MS Words, PPT, and other applications.

• At least 3 year(s) of relevant working experience. Experience in off-shore marine preferred.

• Good problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
