Senior / Physiotherapist (AWWA Home/ Day Activity Centre@Pasir Ris)

The AWWA Home consists of 2 services for adults with disabilities. They are Day Activity Centre and Adult Disability Home. Client groups include physical disability and multiple disabilities such as intellectual disability, cerebral palsy etc. In AWWA Home, the focus of the home emphasize on empowering the clients to actively participate in Activities of Daily Living and Community Living Skills.

Senior / Physiotherapist play a big part in exploring roles and routines of these clients in the community, and implementing interventions and programs together with the multi-disciplinary team to promote independent living and community integration as the clients transit into adulthood.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess and identify the individual needs of clients and formulate, develop and implement appropriate individualised therapy programmes
• Monitor training programmes and review its effectiveness
• Liaise with various disciplines involved in the rehabilitative treatment process
• Refer clients to the respective specialists for consultation and intervention

Job Requirements:

• Full Registrant with the Allied Health Professions Council in Singapore
• Candidate with working experience in Adult Disability setting would be an advantage
