Senior Staff Nurse (Dialysis)

• 44 hours per week (Day Shift)
• Dialysis Centre Location: Sengkang
• Monthly salary: Up to $5500 + good benefits

A leading community healthcare provider is currently seeking an experienced Senior Staff Nurse to join their expanding team in supporting the Dialysis Centre. This role focuses on providing comprehensive peritoneal dialysis (PD) nursing care while ensuring operational efficiency, staff supervision, patient safety, and compliance with healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor medical supplies, inventory, and stock levels.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.
• Support cost-control and quality improvement initiatives.
• Supervise nurses and clinical staff to ensure safe patient care.
• Mentor and train newly joined PD nurses.
• Provide ongoing PD-related education and ensure adherence to updated nursing procedures.
• Report clinical, technical, compliance, or patient-related incidents promptly.
• Deliver dialysis care according to established KPIs and protocols.
• Perform and monitor dialysis procedures, including dialysis access care.
• Train patients and caregivers on peritoneal dialysis management.
• Provide PD services in-centre or at patients’ homes where applicable.
• Assess, monitor, and document patients’ physical, psychological, and social conditions before, during, and after treatment.
• Coordinate care with doctors, dietitians, and medical social workers.
• Administer medications and follow prescribed PD regimens.
• Operate, troubleshoot, disinfect, and maintain PD equipment.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records.
• Educate patients and families through calls, email, or Business WhatsApp communication.
• Ensure infection control and aseptic practices are followed.
• Provide on-call support and refer patients for further medical care when necessary.

Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in Nursing
• Valid registration with the Singapore Nursing Board
• Minimum 2 years of Peritoneal Dialysis nursing experience
• Valid certificate of Basic Care Life Support (BCLS)
