Senior Staff Nurse (Inpatient) Ref: GDC

• Basic salary up to $7500 + AWS + VB 
• Working hours: 3 rotating shifts
• Easily accessible from Bishan MRT station

A leading provider of palliative care is currently seeking an experienced candidate to join their team as a Senior/ Staff Nurse(Inpatient). You are tasked to render safe, competent and individualized nursing care services according to the needs and conditions of patients in an inpatient setting. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care services which include the provision of direct care, patient monitoring, evaluation of patient’s conditions, administer medication, wound dressing, ensure treatment plans are followed, infection monitoring etc
• Ensure the safety of all patients and report all incidents to the Nurse Clinician/ Manager 
• Work closely with the physicians to provide the best care to patients and serve as the liaison between families and physicians.
• Monitor, reassess and evaluate patient’s condition in implementing care plan for the patient and support family members to cope with patient’s advanced illness.
• Ensure that standards are met in terms of documentation – maintain proper documentation of patient’s condition and care plan
• Communicate and build rapport with patients, their families and/or caregivers Allocate equipment as necessary to assure adequacy of resources to meet care requirements. 
• Observe organisation and legal requirements regarding storage and control of drugs and medical supplies.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation at all times.
• Any other duties as and when assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Nursing from the local Polytechnic and registered with Singapore Nursing Board.
• Post-registration experience in a hospital or hospice setting preferred.
• Possess at least 3-5 years’ experience in inpatient setting. Palliative or Geriatric care experience is advantageous
