Senior Staff Nurse (Various Discipline)

Different discipline and departments are available (Inpatient Ward, SOC, ICU and HDU)

Job Responsibilities:

The job responsibilities of senior staff nurses would include those of staff nurses, but also to demonstrate competency in clinical skills and knowledge by performing complex nursing procedures, utilizing clinical judgment, critical thinking and problems solving skills in the delivery of patient care. As a senior staff nurse, effective communication skills would be required to guide subordinates in all direct and in-direct patient care activities. Performing preceptorship duties and taking initiative in daily problem solving is a requirement. A senior staff nurse must also be able to demonstrate basic management and effective leadership skills.

Qualification/Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school by Singapore Nursing Board with either Certificate, Diploma or Degree OR; a Nursing Bachelor degree from a foreign country
• Full or conditional registration with Singapore Nursing Board
• At least 3 years of clinical experience
• Advanced Diploma in Nursing certificate and any other certificate or qualification would be a bonus
• Valid yearly nursing practicing license
• Valid BCLS & AED provider certificate (BCLS instructor certificate is welcome)
• Required to work on rotating shifts upto 12 hours that include day and night shift, on weekends and public holidays
