Senior / Technician Operating Theatre

Provide physical and technical support, general service and assistance to the surgical team in the preparation of required equipment for each specific operation; and responsible for the care and maintenance of equipment in the Major Surgery Suite/ Day Surgery Suite.

Key Responsibilities

• To perform daily operating room duties including maintain the cleanliness of the operating and equipment rooms, replenish of Operating Room supplies, upkeep the condition of the surgical equipment, potter of patients, and dispatch duties.
• Any other tasks assigned by the Nurse Manager/ Clinician.

Requirements

• GCE ‘N’ Level/ Technical Education or its equivalent.
• Must be comfortable with the Operating Room environment.
• Preferably with Operating Room experience; training will be provided to candidates without relevant experience.
• Able to handle physical work, including lifting or transporting of patients and equipment.
• Has good communication skills.
• Able to perform 3 shifts including weekends and public holidays if deployed to Major Operating Theatre.
• Able to perform 2 shifts if deployed to Day Surgery Suite.
