Senior / Occupational Therapist

About the Role

Join a dedicated healthcare team committed to enhancing the quality of life of seniors through rehabilitation and therapy services. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping clients regain independence, improve daily functioning, and achieve meaningful participation in their communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess clients' physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and functional needs
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy intervention plans
• Conduct caregiver training and education
• Prescribe and recommend appropriate assistive devices and mobility aids
• Perform home assessments and recommend environmental modifications
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver holistic care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research, and service development projects
• Provide training and guidance to therapists, support staff, and healthcare professionals
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and service standards

Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Full AHPC
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good problem-solving and clinical reasoning abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment
• Proficient in Google Suite applications
• Open to travelling to various work locations when required
