Site Supervisor

About the Role

We are an established construction and civil engineering enterprise with a proven track record in delivering major infrastructure and civil projects across Singapore. We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee earthworks operations on active construction sites. The ideal candidate holds a valid Registered Earthwork Supervisor (RES) Certificate and brings solid field experience managing earthworks scopes, preferably on Land Transport Authority (LTA) projects.

Key Responsibilities 

• Supervise and manage all on-site earthworks activities including excavation, backfilling, compaction, soil stabilisation, slope formation, and disposal of excavated materials.

• Ensure all earthworks are carried out in strict accordance with approved drawings, method statements, specifications, and project requirements.

• Monitor ground conditions, soil behaviour, and earthworks progress, reporting any anomalies or risks to the Engineer-in-Charge promptly.

• Coordinate with geotechnical engineers and site engineers on instrumentation readings, settlement monitoring, and ground movement control measures.

• Ensure proper management of earthworks interfaces with adjacent structures, utilities, and existing infrastructure, particularly in live MRT or road corridor environments.

• Fulfil all statutory duties and responsibilities as a Registered Earthwork Supervisor (RES) in accordance with the Building Control Act and BCA regulations.

• Ensure all earthworks operations comply with BCA approved earthworks permits, geotechnical submission requirements, and site-specific safety control measures.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date RES site records, daily supervision logs, and earthworks inspection checklists as required by regulatory authorities. 

Requirements 

• Valid Registered Earthwork Supervisor (RES) Certificate issued by BCA is mandatory.

• Valid CSOC (Construction Supervisory Orientation Course) or equivalent site supervisor certification.

• Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) certification or relevant safety training is required.

• Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience supervising earthworks operations on construction or civil engineering projects.

• Experience on LTA projects (e.g., MRT, LRT, road, tunnel, or underground infrastructure) is strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated experience managing earthworks in confined, urban, or technically complex environments.
