STAFF NURSE

You will be responsible for attending to patients and liaising with doctors and various departments providing coordination and assistance.  You play a vital role in the department providing excellent front line customer service to patients.

Roles &Responsibilities

Ø  Assist doctors during consultations, examinations, and minor medical procedures.

Ø  Perform patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, and nursing interventions as required.

Ø  Administer medications, vaccinations, injections, and treatments as prescribed by the attending doctor.

Ø  Conduct health screening procedures.

Ø  Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation and electronic medical records.

Ø  Ensure proper infection prevention and control practices, including sterilization of instruments and maintenance of a clean and safe clinical environment.

Ø  Comply with the clinic's policies and procedures, as well as the MOH regulations.

Ø  Work collaboratively with doctors and allied health professionals to deliver quality patient care.

Ø  Participate in quality improvement initiatives and undertake any other duties assigned by Chief Nurse.

Job Requirements

Ø  Minimum diploma or degree in Nursing.

Ø  Registered with SNB, with a valid practising certificate.

Ø  Possess a valid BCLS/AED certification.

Ø  Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical nursing experience in a primary care, outpatient clinic setting will be an advantage.

Ø  Good interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.

Ø  Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Ø  Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and EMR system.

Ø  Meticulous, responsible and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
