Responsibilities
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate peri-operative patient care for surgical patients • Participate in the implementation of clinical practices and standards • Demonstrate good clinical skills and critical thinking in delivering quality operating room nursing skills • Be a team player and provide supervision and support as needed • Participate in the care and maintenance of specialized equipment • Be involved in departmental or hospital level committees • Participate in the orientation, training, and education of junior and newly recruited nurses
Requirements
• Diploma of Nursing or Degree in Nursing or equivalent • Advance Diploma or post-basic qualifications in Peri-operative Nursing or equivalent • Singapore Nursing Board Practicing Certificate for Registered Nurses • At least 6-8 years experience in hospital clinical settings, with 5 years in Operating Room (OR) • Leadership role in Operating Room • Good clinical knowledge in Operating Room domain • Good interpersonal skills • Good communication skills (written & oral) • Good clinical skills and knowledge
