Tai Seng - Therapy Assistant (Nursing Home - Macpherson)

Responsibility

Provide physical, emotional and social care for our nursing home residents.

Job Description

· Assist therapists to deliver therapy exercise according to care plan

· Supervise the elderly in practising activities of daily living

· Facilitate small group activities and conduct bedside therapy exercise

· Maintain, clean and sterilize rehabilitation equipment

· Ensure safety of the elderly during rehabilitation sessions

- Assist with feeding residents

· Administrative duties

· Other duties assigned by supervisor

Requirements

· Certificate in Therapy Support

· Passionate in caring for the elderly.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

- able to commit work schedule Monday to Friday and alternate Saturday (half day)
