Job Description:

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Practitioner to join our team. The practitioner will be responsible for providing TCM consultations, acupuncture, 5-minute tuina sessions, and prescribing Chinese herbal medicine to patients. This role may also offer opportunities for salary progression upon completion of relevant trainings and may involve other relevant clinical duties.

Key Responsibilities:

1. TCM Consultation: Conduct comprehensive consultations with patients to assess their health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans based on TCM principles.
2. Acupuncture: Administer acupuncture treatments to patients based on diagnosis and treatment plans, ensuring safety and adherence to TCM techniques.
3. Tuina Massage: Provide short (5-minute) tuina massage sessions as part of the treatment plan to address specific health concerns, using therapeutic techniques.
4. Chinese Medicine Prescriptions: Prepare and prescribe Chinese herbal medicine formulas tailored to each patient's condition, taking into account their unique needs and constitution.
5. Patient Education: Educate patients on TCM principles, lifestyle modifications, and dietary recommendations to support their healing and well-being.
6. Progression of Salary: Offer the potential for salary progression upon completion of relevant TCM training or certifications, to encourage ongoing professional development.
7. Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and prescribed herbal formulas.
8. Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, as needed, to provide holistic care to patients.

Qualifications:

• Licensed or certified TCM Practitioner with a minimum of 1 years of clinical experience.
• Proficient in acupuncture and tuina techniques.
• Knowledge of Chinese herbal medicine and the ability to prescribe tailored formulas.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to educate and engage with patients.
• Strong record-keeping skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to pursue additional training and certifications for career progression.
• A passion for holistic health and a patient-centered approach to care.

Salary: The initial salary will be competitive and commensurate with the practitioner's experience. Salary progression opportunities will be available upon completion of relevant TCM training and certifications.

Additional Clinical Duties: Other relevant clinical duties may include participating in team meetings, contributing to the development of TCM treatment protocols, and staying updated on the latest developments in TCM practices and research.
