Technical Product Specialist, Molecular Diagnostics

About the role

As a Technical Product Specialist, Molecular Diagnostics at SDT Molecular Pte. Ltd., you will be responsible for providing technical and sales support on the company's in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) molecular diagnostic assays, quality controls materials and external quality assurance programs. In this full-time role, you will be based in the Tai Seng North-East Region and play a crucial part in driving the adoption and success of SDT Molecular's solutions for diagnostic testing.

What you'll be doing

1. Provide customers with updates on new products, technologies, and applications related to molecular diagnostics and IVD solutions.

2. Conduct product presentations and provide technical/sales support to key customers

3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, clinical laboratories, and healthcare professionals.

4. Manage the sales order process, including quotations and tender submission

5. Work closely with principals and internal teams to support product launches and marketing activities.

6. Support tender submissions and quotation preparation when required.

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Degree in Biomedical Science or related disciplines

• Experience in molecular diagnostics, clinical laboratory environments, or IVD industry is preferred.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Customer-focused with a willingness to learn and grow.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to travel when required.
