Workplace Safety and Health Manager

Job Description:

• Lead and manage safety governance and risk management activities across Asia under the direction of the Deputy Chief Safety Officer.
• Ensure alignment with global safety frameworks and drive execution at regional and local levels.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Implement global safety policies and frameworks across Asia.
2. Conduct accident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.
3. Strengthening safety governance, reporting, and compliance processes.
4. Support subsidiaries in safety capability development and training programs.
5. Monitor incident KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
6. Coordinate with headquarters and regional management on safety strategy.
7. Ensure proper resource allocation and process effectiveness at site level.

Requirements:

1. Degree/Diploma in Occupational Safety& Health, Engineering, Environment Science, or related field.
2. Minimum 10 years of experience in Workplace Safety & Health (WSH), with at least 5 years in a managerial or regional role.
3. University graduates with minimum 15 years working experience in elevator industries.
4. Experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring safety management systems and programs.
5. Business Japanese communication and written skills to communicate with executives in Japan regional offices
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
8. Willingness to travel within the region as required.
