Cafe manager

The Café Manager is accountable for the day-to-day performance of the front of house, working closely with the kitchen team and EPL.

Key responsibilities:

1. Lead and support front-of-house staff, including PWD employees.
2. Manage daily opening, service readiness, staff deployment and closing.
3. Ensure excellent customer service and build customer loyalty.
4. Oversee stock, ordering, wastage, supplier coordination and cash controls.
5. Maintain food safety, cleanliness and operating standards.
6. Review the menu, pricing and customer feedback with the kitchen team.
7. Track daily sales, average spend and progress toward the $900 daily break-even target.
8. Drive promotions and collaborate with SKH to increase awareness and footfall.
9. Coordinate with Seven and Mr Liew on kitchen capacity, product availability and catering orders.
10. Provide Helena with a concise weekly update covering sales, operations, people and key support required.

The Café Manager should have the freedom to run daily operations within agreed budgets and standards, with escalation required only for significant people, financial or reputational matters.
