Job Summary

The Director of People & Culture leads policy development and strategic HR initiatives to support hotel operations, fosters a performance-driven culture, manages talent and remuneration, ensures legal compliance, and represents the hotel at industry events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and practices aligned with hotel operational needs
• Advise management on strategic staffing plans, compensation, benefits, learning and development, budgets, and forecasts to optimize workforce effectiveness
• Lead initiatives to cultivate a culture that supports the hotel’s strategic goals and enhances employee engagement
• Manage performance management processes and conduct talent assessments to identify development opportunities
• Oversee remuneration planning by conducting market surveys and evaluations to maintain competitive compensation
• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable human resources laws and regulations to mitigate legal risks
• Conduct workplace investigations, maintain accurate HR records, and represent the organization at industry events and meetings
