Job summary
A Cluster Sales Manager (MICE) position with Conrad Hotels and Resorts Focus on maximizing revenue through the sale of conference facility space and guest rooms Responsibilities include driving sales, managing the sales team, responding to inquiries, and building relationships

Responsibilities
• Review sales and revenue generating business plans • Contribute to the selling strategy of the hotel • Understand the competitive marketplace and implement approaches to stay competitive • Develop the Sales Team and ensure high quality standards and proactive selling • Receive and convert incoming enquiries, make proposals and close sales • Accurate data entry of group and meeting enquiries • Build strong relationships with customers • Conduct briefings and meetings to obtain optimal results • Make sales and telemarketing calls • Conduct property tours, site inspections, and entertain potential clients • Build relationships with colleagues in hotel operations department • Create Sales Activity Plan and submit reports • Perform other duties delegated by Cluster Director of Sales
Requirements
• Positive attitude and good communication skills • Strong sales background in MICE • Self-motivated salesperson • Strong analytical skills • Excellent selling capabilities • Excellent organizational and planning skills • Ability to work under pressure • At least 2 years' experience in the same capacity • Tertiary qualifications preferred
