Golf Officer

Job Functions & Summary:

Responsible in managing all aspects of the golf operations and carry out administrative duties for the junior staffs in order to ensure the smooth running operations for the Golf Departments.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

(1) Advise Golfers on the course conditions and any matters pertaining to the courses.

(2) Provide accurate and latest golf related information at the golfing counter.

(3) Update the Club’s Handicap system and distribute the monthly Handicap Index of the members.

(4) Maintain and control the sales and stocks of the souvenir items.

(5) Prepare scorecards and information slips.

(6) Assist in Club and private Golf events.

(7) Handles and records all lost and found golfing items in the system.

(8) Patrol the golf course to ensure that the play is smooth and regulated with no serious hold-up from slow play.

(9) Observe and check on members and guests dress code, course etiquette, conduct and behavior on the golf courses.

(10) Ensure members and guests display their golf tags.

(11) Familiar with the current Club’s Bye-Laws and Golf rules.

(12) Prepare and submit daily report to the Golf Executive.

(13) Upkeep and maintain the Club’s ambulance buggy and Marshal’s buggy in clean and serviceable condition.

(14) Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
