Room Attendant

Position summary statement:

The Guest Room Ambassador performs any combination of cleaning duties to maintain all

apartments in a clean and orderly manner for occupancy.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for cleaning an allocated number of apartments set by the Assistant
• Housekeeper according to working procedures.
• Clean bedrooms, change bed linen, vacuum carpet rugs, mop floors and replenish all guest
• supplies.
• Wash bathrooms, wash glasses, replenish all towels and bathroom amenities. Empty rubbish
• bin.
• Clean living rooms, vacuum carpet rugs, mop floors and replenish all guest supplies.
• Clean kitchen and all kitchen appliances and equipment, wash cutleries, crockeries, glasses,
• cooking utensils, pots and pans. Empty rubbish bin.
• Clean internal windows, window ledges and door panels.
• Maintain all Housekeeping cleaning machine and equipment in good working condition.
• Report to Assistant Housekeeper for any loss and damage to linen, furniture, fixtures and
• equipment
• Update status of apartments.
• Put in and set-up rollaway beds and baby-cots, Deliver electrical plugs or any special requests by guests.
• Report any repairs and damages to Assistant Housekeepers discovered in apartments or working areas.
• Performs any other duties and special projects as assigned.
