Job Description - Assistant HR Manager

Job Responsibilities including but not limited to following:

  • Oversee full spectrum of human resource functions, including manpower planning, manpower budget, recruitment, compensation & benefits, training, performance management, and employee engagement.
  • Lead the HR function and provide leadership in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
  • Handle work passes (including EP, SP and WP) related work in accordance with business needs such as application, renewal, cancellation, appealing and updating personal particulars to MOM etc.
  • Formulate and implement recruitment strategies and talent management frameworks. Lead the sourcing, assessment, and selection processes, including managing work pass issues for foreign talent.
  • Support key compensation and benefit activities such as Salary Increment, Performance Bonus, Promotion and Manpower Budgeting exercise.
  • Administer the entire performance appraisal cycle, execute annual increment and promotion cycles, and oversee succession planning initiatives
  • Manage compensation & benefits salary surveys, job matching, and related analysis to support market pricing and market benchmarking exercises
  • Prepare regular HR related statistics and reports for management review;
  • Support and coordinate training needs in accordance with business requirement;
  • Provide advice to employees and managers and manage employee grievances, conduct and discipline
  • Support employee engagement and welfare activities.
  • Manage end of end regional HR operations of a lean team across – Singapore and all relevant regional offices (Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Dubai etc.) covering staff on-boarding and off-boarding, leave tracking, payroll management, labour benefits, and statutory compliance.
  • Support other HR related needs required by other departments, offices etc.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Familiar with Asia labour legislation and with at least 3 years experiences as senior executive in HR relation positions, prerred in manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin to liaise with both overseas and Chinese stakeholders and turn insights into actions.
  • Strong leadership and with data-driven and solution-orientated mind-set
  • Good planning, organizing, communication, team cooperation spirit and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision, self-motivated, willing to handle work stress.
