Job Description - ASSISTANT PAYROLL MANAGER

RMA, a leading BPO service provider of Manpower Outsourcing Services is looking for an Assistant Payroll Manager to support the core and business units in their operational needs.

We invite a candidate who has a keen interest in building a HR career in the Company.

Job Responsibilites:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations performed by the Payroll team and ensure timely and accurate salary payment and statutory reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Handle and process payroll, overtime claims, timesheets, incentives and allowance payments.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of the following regular/ad hoc payroll that may include: -CPF Submissions like Government Claims (NS, maternity and childcare etc),Tax related matters (declaration, IR21, tax filing etc)
  • Prompt tracking of Attendance records in HR portal and compute data collected in portal.
  • Consolidate Payroll Reports, Dashboard, Journals or any other payroll-related reporting.
  • Ensure compliance in the following that may have an impact to salary payments:
  • Leave of absence
  • Reimbursements
  • Attendance (Timesheet/Timecard)
  • Issue payments by GIRO/Bank Transfers on time.
  • Pay-slips issuance.
  • Reporting of journal entries in accounting system
  • Perform payroll service to clients as per their specifications and answer to their queries.
  • Attend to internal and outsourced staff's queries on payroll-related matters.
  • Reconciliation of payroll records, data verification and administration
  • Monitor and manage payroll legislation compliance.
  • Establishes standards and procedures for managing and administering payroll, billing and other related transactions
  • Any other payroll tasks and projects as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma in HRM or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of payroll experience.
  • Hands-on experience in payroll processing for at least 500+ headcounts using HR software.
  • Experience in leading a team of payroll staff.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and network with people.
  • Highly meticulous and with an eye for detail.
