HR Assistant

salary Salary :

$2,000 - 2,500 monthly

Job Description - HR Assistant

  • Maintain and update workers’ personal and employment records.
  • Assist with Work Permit applications, renewals, cancellations, and related documentation.
  • Monitor permit, passport, medical, safety course, and certificate expiry dates.
  • Check workers’ attendance, overtime, leave, and timesheets.
  • Assist with payroll preparation, allowances, deductions, and salary enquiries.
  • Coordinate workers’ medical appointments, onboarding, transfers, and repatriation.
  • Attend to workers’ enquiries, complaints, and welfare matters.
  • Prepare employment letters, warning letters, and other HR documents.
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding of workers.
  • Liaise with site supervisors, agencies, dormitories, clinics, and government authorities.
  • Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of relevant HR experience, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Experience handling local and foreign workers is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of Work Permit and payroll matters.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Able to work independently and handle confidential information.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
