Job Description - HR EXECUTIVE

Responsible

Supporting the company's human resource functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll coordination, training, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. Ensures that the organization maintains an efficient workforce while supporting the operational requirements of construction projects and corporate offices.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Staffing

  • Coordinate recruitment for office staff, site personnel, and project-based employees.
  • Prepare job advertisements and screen applications.
  • Schedule interviews and assist hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Conduct onboarding and orientation for new employees.

Employee Records & Administration

  • Maintain accurate employee personnel files and HR databases.
  • Prepare employment contracts, confirmation letters, and other HR documentation.
  • Monitor employee attendance, leave records, and probation periods.
  • Process employee resignations, terminations, and exit interviews.

Payroll & Benefits

  • Prepare monthly payroll information and verify attendance records.
  • Coordinate statutory contributions, employee benefits, and insurance enrollment.
  • Assist with overtime, allowances, and project-based payroll requirements.

Employee Relations

  • Address employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Support disciplinary processes and grievance handling.
  • Promote employee engagement and maintain positive workplace relationships.

Training & Development

  • Coordinate training programs, safety orientations, and employee development activities.
  • Maintain training records and monitor mandatory certifications.

Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and health and safety regulations.
  • Support HR audits and maintain confidential employee information.
  • Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures.

Construction-Specific Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment and mobilization of site workers.
  • Maintain records of trade certifications, work permits, licenses, and safety training.
  • Monitor manpower allocation across construction projects.
  • Liaise with project managers regarding workforce planning and staffing requirements.
