Job Description - HR Generalist - Technology (Networking)

about the company

With an international network of clientele, our client is a technology company focusing on networking solutions. They are currently looking for a HR Generalist to be part of their team to design and implement talent management initiatives and organisational development programs to support their growth.
about the job

Reporting to the Global Operations Lead, you will be responsible to:-

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders drive and implement HR strategy regionally
  • Develop and implement talent management and recruitment strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent within the organisation
  • Design and facilitate employee development programs, including training initiatives, leadership development programs, and succession planning processes
  • Partner with department heads on workforce planning, identify talent needs and create talent pipelines for critical roles
  • Plan and execute recruitment strategies, handling overseas employee recruitment and onboarding
  • Implement and manage performance appraisal systems to assess employee performance and development needs
  • Lead organisational development initiatives to enhance team effectiveness, collaboration, and communication.
  • Analyse employee engagement survey data and other metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and HR best practices to ensure that the organisation remains competitive
  • Provide guidance and support in various areas of HR to business stakeholders
  • Continuously improve HR tools and internal HR policies based on external market trends, insights, and best practices
  • Handling employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent solutions
  • Handling of staff compensation & benefits including administration of payroll
  • Contribute to HR policy making aligned with the business unit’s people strategy and objectives

skills and experience required

  • At least 3 years of relevant HR Generalist & Business Partnering experience, with regional exposure across Asia
  • Strong understanding of local labour laws and HR best practices in Singapore
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in implementing global/regional talent management, talent introduction or organisational development programs will be preferred
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is required to collaborate with senior stakeholders based in Wuhan, China
  • Adaptable, strong critical thinking skills, resourceful and a problem-solver
  • The ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Independent, self-motivated, able to work in a matrix reporting environment
