The Working Capitol currently operates its first site out of a refurbished 1920’s biscuit factory in the heart of Singapore’s Chinatown, with a community of members comprising of solo-preneurs as well as some of the hottest tech unicorns.

Named one of the top coworking spaces in Asia by Forbes, The Working Capitol is deeply ingrained in the neighbourhoods in which it operates. An expansion of its Keong Saik campus will be opening towards the end of 2018, offering a greater array of services to its community.

We are looking for a HR Manager to join us:

The HR Manager report to the CEO. The role is a key leadership role responsible for maintain a close working relationship with the management team responsible for driving innovative though leadership, coaching around all matters relating to talent management, development and implemtnating the right frameworks and initiatives that will deliver on the business strategy and targets.

To be successful in this role, you must be willing to disrupt traditional “HR” norms and take a hands-on approach to execute processes and policies while building a long-term culture. You will need to work independently and over time, build out a high-performing team.

Your main job responsibilities will include:

• To deep dive into the mission and values that drive the business
• To be a business partner to all functional heads providing leadership and performance management coaching
• Reviewing of existing contracts, policies and processes; from the hiring process to performance management and development
• Analyse existing recruitment processes and hiring needs to build a long term strategy
• Develop corporate plans for a variety of People matters such as a compensation and benefits structure, to a reflection of our company values
• Build and roll out toolkits, provide training and implement systems that will support our People function
• Ensure that all People operations across the organisation are carried out smoothly and effectively
• Develop programme and initiaves to boost the employer brand and enhanced company culture
• Act to support the human factor in the company by devising strategieis for performance evaluation, training and development
• Serve as the point of contact for employment relations and compliance with local labour laws
• Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards
• Deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required
• Anticipate and resolve litigation risks
• Report to senior management by analysing data and using HR metrics
• Strategically build out a team that will support the business strategy and performance targets

the ideal candidate for this role:

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in the filed of HR, Talent development, people coaching
• Passionate about building teams and cultures
• Have excellent knowledge of employment legustration and regulations
• Poccess business acumen partnered with to the human element
• Are passionate about using data to drive results, analysis and reporting
• Are hands-on, able to work independently and gain trust of a team
• Outstanding communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
• Diligent and firm with high ethical standards
