Job Description - Human Capital Manager

Job Summary

Join our team as a Human Capital professional to lead recruitment, manpower planning, employee relations, policy implementation, and HC operations, partnering with management to advance organizational human capital strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes to attract and secure talent aligned with organizational needs
  • Coordinate manpower requisitions and collaborate with department heads to meet staffing requirements
  • Post job advertisements on recruitment platforms to maximize candidate reach
  • Screen candidates and conduct interviews to assess suitability for roles
  • Arrange interviews with Hiring Managers to ensure smooth candidate evaluation
  • Support onboarding processes and manage pre-employment documentation for new hires
  • Manage relationships with recruitment agencies and external hiring partners to optimize talent acquisition
  • Support manpower planning initiatives to align workforce with business goals
  • Maintain accurate employee records and human capital documentation for compliance and operational efficiency
  • Prepare employment letters and contracts to formalize employment agreements
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure seamless employee transitions
  • Ensure proper filing and compliance of employee records in accordance with regulations
  • Maintain Human Capital Information System (HCIS) and employee databases for data integrity
  • Coordinate probation confirmations and contract renewals to support workforce stability
  • Support payroll preparation and submission to ensure timely employee compensation
  • Review and implement human capital policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain regulatory compliance
  • Ensure adherence to Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations and labour laws to mitigate legal risks
  • Handle disciplinary and grievance matters professionally to maintain workplace harmony
  • Support audits and compliance checks to uphold organisational standards
  • Document employee matters accurately to support HR processes and compliance
  • Foster positive employee relations and promote a constructive workplace culture
  • Organise employee engagement activities to enhance staff morale and retention
  • Support staff welfare initiatives to improve employee well-being
  • Address employee concerns and queries promptly and professionally
  • Partner with management to provide human capital advisory support on employee matters
  • Collaborate with department heads on staffing needs and organisational requirements
  • Assist in performance management processes to support employee development and organisational goals

Required competencies and certifications

  • Strong knowledge of Singapore labour laws to ensure compliance with legal requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications to support administrative and reporting tasks

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Capital, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant Human Capital experience
  • Experience in hospitality industry preferred
  • Experience handling full spectrum of human capital functions is an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills to manage multiple HR activities efficiently
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills to resolve issues and build relationships
