We are looking for a motivated Junior IT Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. This role is ideal for someone early in their recruitment career who is keen to build expertise in sourcing, screening, and placing IT professionals across the Singapore and Malaysia markets. You will work closely with Senior Recruiters and Account Managers to support end-to-end recruitment for technology roles, gaining hands-on exposure to client management, candidate evaluation, and the full hiring lifecycle.
• Source candidates for IT roles (e.g. software development, cloud, infrastructure, QA, project/ program management) through job portals, LinkedIn, internal databases, and referrals.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial phone/video screening calls to assess candidates' technical fit, experience, and availability.
• Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and clients, and follow up on interview feedback in a timely manner.
• Maintain and update candidate pipelines and applicant tracking system (ATS) records accurately and consistently.
• Draft and post job descriptions in coordination with Senior Recruiters and hiring managers.
• Support Employment Pass(EP) and work pass related documentation and queries for Singapore and Malaysia placements.
• Assist in preparing candidate profiles and client-facing pitch summaries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates to ensure a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.
• Keep up to date withmarket trends, salary benchmarks, and in-demand IT skills.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to understand client requirements and role specifications.
• Diploma or Bachelor'sdegree in Human Resources, Business, IT, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experiencein recruitment, staffing, or talent acquisition (fresh graduates with strong communication skills are welcome to apply).
• Basic understanding ofIT roles and terminology (e.g. developer, QA, DevOps, cloud, infrastructure) is an advantage.
• Strong verbal andwritten communication skills.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple candidate pipelines simultaneously.
• Proficiency in MS Office(Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with ATS tools is a plus.
• A proactive,target-driven attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Certificate ofEmployment Intermediaries (CEI) - Basic, or willingness to obtain it within the required time frame after joining, in line with MOM's Employment Agency regulatory framework.
• Prior internship or workexperience in a recruitment agency or staffing firm.
• Familiarity with Employment Pass (EP) processes and MOM regulations (Singapore) or equivalent Malaysia work pass regulations.
• Exposure to LinkedInRecruiter or similar sourcing tools.
