Regional Payroll Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Regional Payroll Specialist to support payroll operations across multiple countries in APAC and MEA. This role will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end payroll processes in partnership with external payroll vendors, ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery across the region.

The successful candidate will play a key role in payroll governance, stakeholder management, and compliance while supporting a workforce of approximately 200 employees across Singapore, Korea, Taiwan, Australia, the Middle East, Africa, Dubai, and the Philippines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate end-to-end payroll operations across multiple countries in APAC and MEA.
• Partner closely with external payroll vendors to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Review payroll inputs, validations, reconciliations, and final payroll outputs.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, employment regulations, and payroll legislation across the respective countries.
• Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees, HR teams, and external vendors.
• Support payroll audits and ensure proper documentation and record management.
• Monitor changes in employment laws, tax regulations, and payroll requirements, particularly within Singapore and other supported markets.
• Provide support on compensation and benefits administration activities as required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of payroll experience, preferably with regional payroll exposure.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes and payroll vendor management.
• Familiarity with Singapore payroll regulations, statutory contributions, and MOM requirements.
• Exposure to payroll operations across multiple countries within APAC and/or MEA is highly advantageous.
• Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work effectively in a fast-paced regional environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
