Purpose of the Role
Provide efficient, compliant, and reliable day-to-day people support locally. The role ensures smooth HR operations, correct application of local legislation, and consistent execution of the annual people cycle, while role-modelling company values, bringing our cultural aspirations and leadership expectations to life, and actively help driving our priorities.
Tasks & Responsibilities
• Act as first point of contact for managers and employees on local People matters, including:
- provide day-to-day guidance to people managers on people processes, policies, and employee matters
- manage local employee relations
• Role-model company values, cultural aspirations, leadership expectations, performance goals, and actively promote company priorities in daily work
• Manage local payroll and payroll controls
• Drive the annual People wheel locally (salary review, etc.) in alignment with global practices
• Own People operations and people master data locally with high quality and accuracy
• Monitor, interpret and apply local labor law and HR regulations and manage local implications impacting our policies and employee handbook, including managing statutory reporting, refunds, etc.
• Manage visitor and immigration processes, and coordination with authorities
• Manage local recruitment activities, including external search coordination, and smooth handling of joiner, mover, and leaver processes locally.
• Act as local interface with People Team in other location(s)
• Support people communication related to local changes
• Oversee office management and security in coordination with local Managing Director and local leaders
Background, Knowledge & Experience
• Relevant education and approx. 4–6 years of relevant professional experience in HR
• Strong knowledge of local employment law and HR practices
• Experience with recruitment and managing payroll
• Used to working with global and aligned policies and processes
• Experience in an international environment is an advantage
• Eligible to working in Singapore
